24 October 2005 Show: John Peel memorial ride and the Bicycle Film Festival

Kieron Yates joins Southwark Cyclists for the inaugural John Peel Memorial Ride in homage to the great British broadcaster and champion of the underdog. Jack rides with Brendt Barbur, founding director of the Bicycle Film Festival on the day after the festival took London by storm.

Hi - I've been listening to a lot of the old shows, and this one featuring the John Peel memorial ride sounds fascinating - but I can't download it! - neither the link here or the one on iTunes works - can you help?

Sorry about that. The older shows from the Bike Show archive are hosted with Radio4All, and from time to time they change the URLs of the files. Not very helpful, and one of the reasons newer shows are hosted at Archive.org, which is a lot more reliable. I've updated the links on this show and will check the others. Should work now.
